Playmidi 1.2

Alex Mohr, dzur@u.washington.edu, assorted bug fixes.
Please note that I have no idea how this beast actually deals with
the sound driver. I just found the places that caused the program
to die horribly and fixed them up a bit, so if you have problems
with this software, don't bug me about them. :)

Playmidi 1.1

This is the first public release of playmidi. Normally I wouldn't
release something that's not finished, but I'm getting tired of
waiting for the new sound driver to be finished.

Playmidi is a small midifile player that will playback to FM, GUS,
and external MIDI. 4-op FM (OPL/3) is currently not properly supported.

To install playmidi, just "make dep; make install" and then if you're
planning on using fm, copy *.sb and *.o3 to /etc (the path for both
gus patchfiles and fm libraries can be changed in the file playmidi.h)

If you're having trouble with playmidi, you can email laredo@netcom.com
up until January 15, 1995. After that date, send all correspondence
to laredo@gnu.ai.mit.edu (aka /dev/null), as I will be unreachable for
four to eight years (or more).

The default location for gravis ultrasound patch files is in
/usr/local/lib/Plib and /dos/ultrasnd/midi, so if you don't have your
patch files in either of those two places, you'll need to change
playmidi.h.
